A few clinics throughout Washtenaw County accept Adult Medicaid insurance, while more participate with Healthy Kids Dental. as well as participate with different insurances.

The University of Michigan School of Dentistry provides low cost dental care, and participates with many insurances. They also have a School of Dental Hygiene. You may call them to inquire about scheduling an appointment at 734-763-6933. Visit the UMSoD website for additional information.

The Washtenaw County Dental Clinic (WCHC) serves adults and children who are uninsured and low income, or who are enrolled in Medicaid, MIChild or Healthy Kids.

Hope Dental Clinic provides general preventive and restorative care to those without dental insurance or the ability to pay for dental care. You must first become a Hope dental patient and register during one of our periodic call-in times. To learn more, follow the link below.

Volunteer dentists participating with the Michigan Donated Dental Services (DDS) program have dedicated their talents to provide free comprehensive dental treatment to more than 5,800 of Michigan’s most vulnerable citizens since 1995. These dentists provide once-in-a-lifetime desperately needed care to elderly, permanently disabled or medically fragile patients who are low income and have no other means of getting the dental treatment they need. Donated Dental Services

A successful 2016 Mission of Mercy was completed at the Macomb Community College in Warren Michigan. Over 1000 volunteers assisted in some way over the 4 days of the event, and helped to provide dental services at NO COST to patients. The highly anticipated 2018 Mission of Mercy will be at Calvin College in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. 2018 MoM dates are May 31-June 3, with patient days being June 1 & 2.
